I am coming to the realization that the greatest preachers on Earth are those who preach without saying a word. Their actions say it all. The elderly couple that is still in love after all those years, the little girl with down-syndrome that seems to brighten everybody's day despite her own situation, the young man that truly keeps his priorities in line, the daddy that takes time out of his busy schedule just to wrestle with his little boy or have "tea" with his baby girl, the minister that looks to bless others rather than just inflate his pocket book, and the list goes on and on and on.
The Bible declares in Proverbs 9:1-6, "1 Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; 2 She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table. 3 She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city, 4 Whoever is simple, let him turn in here! As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, 5 Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed. 6 Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding." Wisdom is calling out from the roof tops, if we only had the sense to pay attention to it. May we hear the sermons and receive the lessons that the Father is speaking to us daily. In turn, let our lives exemplify all that God desires them to, and speak volumes to a world indifferent. We are all preachers, our lives all tell stories, but the important thing is what the content of our message is.
